Common questions
Why are credits required?
A 4-credit course affects your SGPA twice as much as a 2-credit course. Ignoring credits produces a wrong average at most universities.
Is SGPA × 9.5 my percentage?
Not necessarily. 9.5 is CBSE's published factor for its own grades; universities define their own rules, and some use (SGPA − 0.75) × 10 or other formulas. Use the rule printed by your institution.
