Image and PDF to text

Text extractor

Digital PDFs give their exact embedded text instantly. Photos and scanned pages go through OCR in English, Hindi or both. Nothing you upload is stored, and extracted text is never retained.

OCR is best-effort

Recognition quality depends on the scan. Always proofread the result — extracted text is not legally authoritative and numbers deserve a second look.

Text is not retained

How it works

01

Upload the file

A photo, a scan or a PDF. Password-protected PDFs work with their password, used once.

02

Choose languages

English, Hindi or both together for mixed documents like certificates.

03

Copy or download

Copy straight to the clipboard for a form field, or save the whole text as a .txt file.

Common questions

Why was my PDF instant while my photo took longer?

Digital PDFs carry their text internally, so it is read directly and exactly. Photos and scanned pages must be recognised character by character.

How accurate is the OCR?

It depends on the scan quality. Clear, flat, well-lit pages read well; always proofread names, numbers and dates before using them anywhere.

Is my document or its text stored?

No. The file is processed in memory for this one request and the extracted text is returned to you and not retained.
