Common questions
Why do phone photos turn sideways on some websites?
Phones often save the sensor image unrotated plus a flag saying how to display it. Sites that ignore the flag show the raw sideways pixels.
My photo is still wrong after fixing — why?
If the photo was already saved without a flag (for example after editing), there is nothing to apply automatically. Use the resize tool's crop preview or rotate it in your gallery first.
Is the quality affected?
One high-quality re-encode is performed. Rotation itself is lossless for right-angle turns.
