PDF below the portal limit

PDF compressor

Set the KB limit the portal enforces. Structure-preserving optimisation keeps selectable text; maximum compression converts pages to images and is guaranteed to shrink further — the tool tells you honestly which one your target needs.

How it works

01

Enter the portal's limit

The exact maximum from the upload page — 200 KB is the most common for certificates.

02

Let the tool pick quality

It searches resolution and image quality until the file genuinely fits, instead of applying a blind percentage.

03

Upload the verified file

What downloads is what was measured — no surprises at the portal.

Common questions

The portal says 200 KB but my scan is 4 MB — will it work?

Almost always. Scanned pages compress heavily as JPEG-backed pages. Multi-page documents may need the maximum-compression method.

What if the target truly cannot be met?

The tool stops and explains, suggesting a higher limit or fewer pages, rather than silently producing a file over the limit or an unreadable one.

Why not just re-save at lower quality myself?

Fixed quality settings overshoot or undershoot. Searching against the actual byte limit lands just under it with the best possible quality.
